First, he dumped off his initial stack, then his first rebuy and down to his last chance with blinds still only 100-200 he shipped all-in with a 10 high flush slowly called by Niall Hostage with a king high flush. Gerry got up to leave with his tail between his legs but was called back when the dealer noted he had 1000 change.
Gerry built that up to 15000 but and got it all-in with 86 on a 9c7d5c board, his opponent held jc9c. A 9 on the turn and a 7 on the river meant goodnight Gerry BUT yes, bizarrely, there were TWO 9s of clubs. Hand cancelled, chips back, embarrassed TD.
Gerry proceeded to dump back down to 1500, but bounced back to lead the final table and after Niall Hostage and Kevin Roche shoved into Gerry's QQ on the big blind our hero had a massive chip lead.
Finally head's up with Pink Willie Browne, Gerry shoved with A9 called by A7. 7 on the flop but naturally 9 on the river.
