The Eglinton will host a satellite for the Western Open in the club on Thursday evening starting at 9pm. The tournament will be a €50 Freezeout with 8000 stack and 20 minute clock. A ticket to the Western Open will be awarded for every 8 players.
The Western Open itself will be held in the Breaffy House Hotel,Castlebar starting Friday 25th February and ending Sunday 27th. It has a €300+€40 Buy-in and a minimum guaranteed prizepool of €40 000. Martin Silke, tournament organiser, has announced that over 150 paid up entries have already been received and that he is confident that there will be over 250 runners, creating a prizepool in excess of €75 000.
A Super Satellite will be held in Castlebar on Thursday the 24th during which there will be a "White Collar" boxing exhibition starring, amongst others, our very own Fintan Gavin, NOT TO BE MISSED
