Tom Corcoran reckons he has a read on League leader Slim Cunningham. So certain is he, that he called the big man's all-in on Tuesday night with 93 of hearts. The bet also put Tom all-in so it wasn't big stack bravado.
Both men had about 20 big blinds. The button called, Tom called from the small blind and Slim went all-in from the big. As soon as the button passed, Tom announced"This is one of your moves, Slim, you've got nothing". Slim must have blanched because Tom called, tabled 93 and smiled. Slim looked sick as he tabled 72 off.
The board ran AQT44 for a split pot and Slim recovered from the shock to finish second to Albert Alexander who completed two in a row after winning Monday.
