Eglinton General Manager Donal MacAonghusa has taken two giant steps towards catching Kieran Furey as the Tournament League reaches its conclusion in two weeks time. Donal split first place in both Tuesday's €40 Freezeout and last night's MidMonth Madness to put himself within two good results of Kieran.
Kieran had a big week himself starring on Channel 4's coverage of UKIPT Dublin. Unfortunately for KIeran, the hole camera showing the TV viewer a player's cards has exposed the muck that he habitually raises with and now his regular opponents in The Eglinton will surely pounce on his raises early in tournaments and pour the pressure back on the former boxer.
