Ronan O'Halloran showed the joy of tournament poker over the last couple of days in the Eglinton. He showed up with only €20 in his pocket for Tuesday afternoon's Single Rebuy, won that collecting €200 including a ticket for Wednesday's Deepstack which he proceeded to win for €700 defeating Jason Ward in the Heads Up despite starting with a 4 to 1 chip deficit.
Donal MacAonghusa failed dismally in his attempt to pass Furious George when he thought QJ was good against QQ on a J high board. Kieran failed to stretch out to an unassailable lead however as his TT proved no match for Jason's JJ.
As Donal is in England on Friday at an all-female croupiers hiring fair, he has but one last chance to win the League. He must cash in BOTH tonight's tournaments so come along to watch as he attempts to play Pot Limit Omaha and small stakes Rebuy Hold'em simultaneously. It should be fun.
