The IPCT heads to Waterford
The second leg of the Irish Poker Championship Tour will be held in the Tower Hotel, Waterford on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August. After the success of the first tournament in The Eglinton, this weekend will surely have an even bigger crowd. Congratulations to Fintan
Fintan has qualified for the EPT Barcelona Open. The buy in for this is €8,000 and will be held on 10th September. Fintan qualified last night on Pokerstars in a $100 rebuy. He finished 1st out of 113 entrants. Second place was awarded $400 so it was all or nothing heads up. Well done.

Wednesday €100 Freezeout
Don't forget our Wednesday night freezeout is on at 8pm. The buy in is €100+€15. Registration is open from 7.30pm and last entry is 9.15pm sharp. This is one of the best weekly tournaments around since the days of the Westwood. Hot buffet and drinks are provided for all players.

The Eglinton Casino will be running a poker tournament this Friday 22nd August at 8.30pm in aid of Corinthians RFC. Entry fee is €50+€5, which includes dinner and drinks. Unlimited rebuys at €20 each will be allowed until the first break. Registration form 8pm. See you there!

Great Results Online for the Irish
After Jude Ainsworths super cash for $91,000, finishing 3rd in the Poker Stars Sunday Million tournament, we are now delighted to be congratulating an other irish player, who's name has yet to be confirmed, that last night went one spot better in one of Full Tilts Online Series of Poker events. The event was a $1000 buy-in and attracted just over 1400 players, the Irishman managed to finish ahead of Full Tilt players Ram Vaswami and Phil Gordan, who also made the final table, to collect a massive second prize of $198,000. Congratulations to Jude Ainsworth
Jude Ainsworth has proven once again that his tournament wins are not just luck. He finished third in the Sunday Millions last night coming through a field on 8236 players. Jude started the year with a win in the IPC in January and has continued to get results throughout the year. Well done Jude, from all the staff of The Eglinton.

After a manic raceweek in the club, we are back to our regular tournament schedule from today. Last week was a great success and kicked off the start of the Irish Poker Tour.
